When Cyberpunk 2077 was first teased by CD Projekt Red back in 2012, it truly sounded like a game of the feature. CD Projekt Red is a well-respected studio that brought us one of the best RPGs to date in The Witcher 3. There wasn't a need to question their lofty goals for Cyberpunk 2077 despite how many times it was delayed. Fans believed they could come through on all of the promises they were making. Unfortunately, the game didn't have a smooth launch at all. It was plagued with severe bugs that swiftly started circulating throughout the gaming community. Next-gen console players haven't had as many issues. The main dilemma seems to involve consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One. From car glitching to cops spawning into walls, Cyberpunk 2077 on the older consoles hasn't gone over well at all. Naturally, CD Projekt Red immediately came under fire by the gaming industry. It looks like they put the game out far sooner than it should have released. Some have come to their defense considering the amount of delays they already suffered and the tremendous pressure put upon them to make back some profit. The game has been taken down on multiple platforms and now, CD Projekt Red could suffer legal blowback from investors.
