On Twitter, Graffiti Games announced a 2D pixel game all about not paying taxes in Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. The game is an action-adventure game about a young turnip "who happens to be an absolute menace to society." Turnip Boy failed to pay his taxes and was evicted from his home. Now he must embark on an epic adventure to pay back his massive debt to Mayor Onion. Turnip Boy will use garden tools to solve puzzles, meet other unusual vegetables and fruits, and even have to engage in combat. While Turnip BOy may sound like a criminal, the sleepy little garden community he lived is involved in even worse activities. It's up to the unlikely hero to take down the corrupt vegetable government. Along the way, Turnip boy will engage in tax evasion, petty crimes, and more as he tries to pay back his debt. He can plant and grow plants that will help aid him on his journey. Players can also uncover hats to decorate Turnip Boy's sprouts with. There are wanted posters across the land for the vegetable, so he'll have to ensure no one catches him. As for the tax evasion, Turnip Boy will have to rip up tons of tax documents. By doing this, Turnip Boy will erase his paper trail on his journey to destroy the government. There are multiple endings depending on how successful Turnip Boy is in committing tax evasion. Throughout the game, players will learn more about the deep history of the world the game takes place in. There's a reason why it became the way it is and how Turnip Boy turned into a villain worth a $1 Reward. The game is a single-player experience and will only be available with an English interface.
