Rust is one of those games that would work just brilliantly on consoles, and although many fans of the game were looking forward to the game being released on Xbox (at least) in 2020, you'll have to wait a little longer. In a developer blog post from the team at Double Eleven today, it was confirmed that Rust would not be released on consoles at some surprise stage at the back-end of 2020. We’ve always had some remote workers but moving the entire company home to keep everyone safe has presented challenges as we’ve found new ways to work with each other in the new normal that this year had in store for us. " However, Rust will still come to consoles, just a bit later than many expected.
