Rage 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter being developed by Avalanche Studios. It's receiving a ton of praise for its vibrant visuals, unique environments, and stellar weapons. The game features an open-world design as well, where you'll have the chance to visit settlements in a post-apocalyptic world. \n \nTo celebrate its official launch in two weeks, Avalanche Studios is offering a contest. Those that enter have the chance to win a Sega Dreamcast-inspired console, featuring a Rage 2 theme. This is no ordinary retro console, though. It will -- in fact -- be fully capable of playing Rage 2 given that it's essentially a PC wrapped up in a Dreamcast shell. \n \nPictures of the console have been spreading like wildfire across online gaming communities. As you would expect, it features a black Dreamcast console with the Rage 2 anarchy logo prominently featured on top in pink. It looks like a great system to add to the collection. \n \nTo be considered a candidate for selection, you must follow Rage 2 on Twitter and retweet their announcement. You must also be 18 years of age or older given that the game has a mature rating. If you've ever wanted a mini PC in your collection, this is the contest for you. Avalanche Studios is doing a phenomenal job at promoting this first-person shooter. \n \nWe've seen plenty of gameplay footage thus far. It looks like it's picking up right where the first Rage left off, only with improved graphics and mechanics. The available guns really stand out from what we've seen first-person shooters of this era showcase. \n \nThe gravity system has garnered a lot of attention as well. We see footage of enemies being sky-rocketed into the air with gravity strikes. They seem to do a ton of damage and necessary when a lot of enemies have surrounded your character. Even the vehicles in this game look fun and lethal. \n \nAll signs are pointing towards Rage 2 being a complete success. Two weeks isn't that long for those who've waited patiently for its release. It deserves to be one of the most anticipated games of the year. If Avalanche Studios can keep up these promotional efforts, there's no reason why they won't meet their sales target and even soar past it. \n \nRage 2 is will be available for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Pre-orders are still available for those who want extra content, features, and missions. You get even more when you upgrade to the collector's edition.
