Blizzard has been slowly trickling out the content for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, in a method that most would agree is extremely time-gated. Still, the new content comes one way or another, and we’re here to focus on what arrived yesterday!

Many may have missed some additions, as this weekly reset brought a massive amount of content – rated PvP, Mythic+, and the Normal and Heroic difficulties for Castle Nathria have all been released as of yesterday.

Another release that came was the final two wings of Torghast, Tower of the Damned. Coldheart Interstitia and Skoldus Hall are both open for the first time, completing the three-week rotation of the six available halls, with two opening every week.

This means that players are able to complete a few achievements that they couldn’t before. One is available for completing Skoldus Hall, one for completing Coldheart Interstitia, and one for completing all six wings of Torghast, Tower of the Damned.

But there’s something that many have their eyes on already that’s a bit more useful than some achievements. Players are able to obtain two new companions for their Covenant Sanctum adventure table, bringing the total number up to six!

The more companions you have, the more adventures you can do simultaneously for the Adventure Table. With six available, players won’t need to be as picky about which missions they send their companions out on.

The first is a familiar face that those that have used these mission tables for the last few expansions will recognize. Meatball, a Gnoll adventurer that players have long sent on these missions, is available to be found in Torghast.

This raises more than a few questions, frankly. Did we kill Meatball on one of the missions we sent him on? Did he deserve to be imprisoned in Torghast for some unspeakable crime we didn’t see him commit? Either way, rescue him, give him some food, and he’s your minion once again.

The second available companion is Covenant-specific, with four different options being available. Calling them “options” is a bit misleading given that you’re forced to take the one that consigns with your Covenant, but there isn’t much of a difference between the four.

Unfortunately, both companions will start at level 1, meaning you’ll have to level them up before they can go on any of your more lucrative adventures. Pairing them with higher-level adventurers for bonus follower experience missions is a great way to level them up fast!
