A new patch was recently released by Riot Games for Teamfight Tactics.

A lot of champions, traits, and items received a lot of love and were buffed accordingly.

1) PVE planning phase time reduced from 30 seconds to 20 seconds.

2) Removed 4 gold drop possibility for small loot boxes, reduced average value by 15%.

2) Removed 7 gold drop possibility for medium loot boxes, reduced average value by 3%.

4) RNG floor increased to not give out worst-case scenarios for players.

5) Full items will now drop significantly less.

6) The chance of Force of Nature on the carousel decreased dramatically.

1) Bramble vest damage increased stats from 80/120/160 to 100/140/200

2) Bloodthirster life steal increased from 40% to 50%.

3) Guinsoo’s Rageblade Attack Speed per stack: 4% ⇒ 5%

4) Hextech Gunblade Omnisteal: 25% ⇒ 33%

5) Iceborn Gauntlet Freeze Duration: 1.5 seconds ⇒ 2.5 seconds

6) Locket of the Iron Solari Shield Value: 250/275/300 ⇒ 250/275/350

7) Luden’s Echo Damage: 120/160/200 ⇒ 125/175/250

Assassin: Critical Strike Damage Bonus: 50%/150% ⇒ 65%/225%

Blademaster: Blademasters can no longer store more extra attacks than the maximum your trait level provides (1/2/3). In short, this means that it will be much less likely, if not impossible, for your champions to go “infinite” off their auto-attacks.

Blademaster chance to get extra auto-attacks: 40% ⇒ 35%

Desert: Armor Reduction: 50%/90% ⇒ 40%/100%

Inferno: Damage: 70%/140%/210% ⇒ 70%/150%/250%

Mage: (6) Mages: 100% Chance to Double Cast ⇒ 100% Chance to Double Cast & 20 AP to all Mages

Shadow: Bonus Damage Duration: 5 seconds ⇒ 6 seconds

Bonus Damage: 65%/150% ⇒ 65%/175%

Warden: Armor Bonus: 150%/300%/450% ⇒ 150%/300%/999%

1)Tier 1, Leona Damage Reduction: 40/90/140 ⇒ 40/80/120

2)Tier 2, Malzahar Minion health: 250/250/250 ⇒ 250/300/400

3)Tier 3

Ezreal Health: 600 ⇒ 650

Ezreal Ability Damage: 200/400/800 ⇒ 225/450/900

Karma Attack Speed Bonus: 60/70/80 ⇒ 40/60/80

Sion Mana: 50/125 ⇒ 75/125

Sivir Bounces: 10/10/10 ⇒ 5/7/9

Veigar Spell Damage: 300/600/900 ⇒ 325/650/975

4)Tier 4, Olaf Attack Speed: 0.85 ⇒ 0.8

Overall impression of the patch is quite positive, Ezreal received some needed buffs after being under picked by players, while Karma’s level 1 attack speed bonus definitely needed a nerf, since it allowed games to snowball quite fast. The most welcome change is the Blademaster change, which stops the “Beyblade” tactic, which many players despite and showed their disagreement. With the trait no longer storing auto-attacks, it can be tuned to be more balanced at the moment.

While the player base has been shrinking compared to the initial launch and hype of the auto-chess mode, the constant game updates keep the game fresh and attractive for loyal players, who’ve been playing the game since launch and for new players who want to experience a new game as well.

It is unclear when the season 1 rewards will be handed out, there is around 1 month left from Season 2, yet there is no news from Riot regarding the rewards. Stay tuned for more information about the rewards in the upcoming days.
