Ooblets is a pretty interesting simulation game where you get to farm, enjoy town life, and collect monsters. It’s like Sims but even more tranquil. It has been available through the Epic Games Store, although in Early Access. Still, the developer has given gamers plenty of things to do and see in this charming game about ooblets.

The game has gone over well with those that have played it for the most part, but it’s about to get even better. The first big content update is planned for the end of the month, which will include a new region with a Halloween theme. Considering Halloween is just a month away, it’s a well-timed addition to a game already filled to the brim in exciting areas to explore.

The new region is being called Nullwhere. You’ll be able to visit its spooky areas and enjoy other things, including new crops, recipes, and of course, ooblets. According to the developer’s patch notes on this September update, they’ll be the ones that were available via the Dance Barn Tournaments. They’ll have different movesets and unique versions as well.

You can get a peak at Nullwhere by checking out Ooblets’ official Twitter page. The screenshot shared is teeming in Halloween atmosphere. There is green mist in the background and orange-colored lanterns hanging up above. It’s a pretty solid design all things considered, which has been a reoccurring theme for Ooblets.

The game is designed beautifully with unique colors. They make you want to explore areas and get into some fun action each time you come back. The ooblets have also won over the hearts of many gamers. Collecting them and building them up never gets to be dull because of the diversity involved. You can also unlock new dance moves for them as you progress.

There are also plenty of ways to style your own character. You can bet that once October hits, the developer will put out some appropriately themed costumes so that you can celebrate the spooky season. If you haven’t had the chance to check out this game’s fun nature, now’s a great time. This September update is just one of many planned for the game.

There is an official roadmap if you want to see what direction the game is being taken in. Looking at some brief highlights, the future is bright for Ooblets — which provides a casual yet fun experience you can’t help but appreciate.
