Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the lovely festivities are over. They’re still going on in NetherRealm Studio’s Mortal Kombat 11. The Be Mine Tower Event is running all the way throughFebruary 17th, which is perfect if you’re looking to nab a few goodies.

The limited time event can be found in the Towers of Time mode. It has been an incredible addition to the Mortal Kombat franchise. It is constantly updated. So after battling through the various tower challenges, there will be a new set waiting. Thus, Mortal Kombat 11 is the gift that keeps on giving in a lot of ways.

As far as the Be Mine Tower Event, there are a ton of things you can unlock for fighters Kano, Kitana, and Jax. These include new brutalities and skins. All you have to do is make it through with your selected character. You’ll have a bunch of Valentine’s Day-themed modifiers to use to give you an edge in combat if you need it. These include roses and teddy bears. They seem like the perfect resources to celebrate love in the air, even if the official holiday has come and gone.

It’s events like this that has made Mortal Kombat 11 one of the most popular installments in franchise history. The Towers of Time mode will have you coming back time and time again once you finish with the story. Speaking of the story, it doesn’t get any better. NetherRealm Studios has really outdone themselves with the world-building and expanding upon the Mortal Kombat lore.

Kronika is a true villain in every sense of the word. What she believes to be right in controlling the sands of time will have you at odds with her from the very beginning. It’s also interesting to see how the developer was able to put a bow on this cinematic story that kicked off in Mortal Kombat (2011). NetherRealm Studios has been building upon the franchise ever since.

The Krpyt is also a shining example of what the developer can do when it listens to fan feedback. It started off a little rocky as it seemed like there was a huge grind, but they’ve since re-designed it to make it more forgiving. Now, navigating the various areas to find incredible gear is extremely exciting.

Mortal Kombat 11 has been a huge success. It will be interesting to see where NetherRealm Studios goes from here.
