On Thursday, the developers behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, teased the August 1 event by showcasing player intros to multiplayer matches. As you'd probably expect, the teaser didn't reveal much, aside from the fact that players will now be dropping into online matches via a helicopter. Of course, as of right now, we don't know whether or not this will only be included in certain modes, or if each multiplayer mode will feature these drop-ins. In addition to everything that has officially been revealed, there has also been a ton of rumors surrounding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the biggest of which is that the game will include a Battle Royale mode. Also, it looks like the game will launch with a Spec Ops mode, which is reportedly an open-world type of mode with roughly 80 missions. So, according to the rumor mill at least, the next Call of Duty game will have no shortage of things to do.
