Rumor has it that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which is set to release this coming October, will feature a Battle Royale mode. This was originally reported by The Gaming Revolution, who have leaked accurate details regarding prior Call of Duty games before they were released. \n \nAccording to The Gaming Revolution, the map for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Battle Royale mode will be nearly three times the size as the map for Black Ops 4's Blackout mode. On top of that, the map is designed both for close quarters combat, and combat in wide open areas. The map will also include elements from previous games in the series, whatever they end up being is anybody's guess, and as is the case with all other games who feature this mode, a ring of toxic gas will surround the map. \n \nTraditionally, Battle Royale modes feature 100 players, but according to the leak, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's version of the mode will be able to support 200 players at once. It's worth noting that the mode, at least as of right now, has only been tested with up to 152 players, but Infinity Ward is obviously confident that it'll be able to support a full 200. \n \nIn the mode, weapons will be based on tiers. Also according to the leak, Infinity Ward has taken all of the co-op missions from the series and mixed them all together. As of this writing, it's unclear exactly what that means, but if The Gaming Revolution's report is true, then more info regarding the aforementioned co-op missions should be made public in the coming weeks. \n \nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bH1lHCirCGI \n \nSince revealing the first trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare towards the end of May, Infinity Ward hasn't revealed a ton of information regarding the game. Of course, they have shared a few details regarding the game's single-player campaign mode, but they haven't shared much when it comes to what the game's multiplayer will look like. \n \nRecently, Infinity Ward promised that they are nearly ready to show off some gameplay from CoD: Modern Warfare's multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, they didn't give a window as to when fans should expect to see more from the game, but due to the fact that it's scheduled to come out in October, there will probably be a gameplay reveal in the coming weeks. \n \nSo far, the only information about the game's multiplayer is that the Juggernaut Suit will be returning in Modern Warfare, but it's unclear how players will be able to utilize it in CoD's various multiplayer modes.
