As World of Warcraft's next expansion, Shadowlands, continues to move closer every day, Blizzard is constantly adding tweaks and fixes to the currently running alpha. While the alpha is still a pretty exclusive client - invite-only, focused on friends and family and a good number of streamers - the content still needs thorough testing before being opened up to the rest of the world. \n \nThis latest set of alterations comes specifically to the never-ending and repeatable dungeon Torghast, Tower of the Damned. Blizzard has added the ability for a few new classes to hop into the Tower, as well as adding a bit more and tweaking difficulty. \n \n \n \nThe most pressing change is that Druid and Shaman now have access to Anima Powers, which will allow them to run Torghast, Tower of the Damned along with the other classes that have been added in. Additionally, Mages now have new Anima Powers for testing. \n \nA new cell block has also been made available, furthering the content within Torghast for players to explore and test. This new block, called Coldheart Interstitia, can be accessed by speaking to the Wayfinder. \n \nFinally, there's been a general buff to the bosses, which brings an increase in difficulty to the Tower of the Damned as a whole. Most of the bosses have been made slightly more difficult, primarily by increasing their health and damage, though some have been given new abilities. Blizzard doesn't go into depth on exactly what these new abilities are or how much the stats have been changed, leaving it to alpha testers to delve into Torghast and discover for themselves. \n \nSince the alpha launched, Torghast has been a popular activity to do, providing players with a literally endless source of content to grind at as well as a wonderful mechanic. Popular streamers like DesMephisto, well-known in the World of Warcraft community for leveling a warrior of every race and gender combination to max level, have applauded the content as a refreshing new design coming to the game. \n \nAdditionally, DesMephisto expressed distaste at Blizzard's decision to lock Torghast behind a key system, saying that "this content is too fun to lock behind artificial gates." Much of the gaming community responded in kind to the tweet, asking Blizzard not to make Torghast a timegate as other content in the past has been. \n \nWith these new changes, Torghast's doors are open to more victims as the bosses grow stronger. As time moves on, we're certain to see a wealth of new changes!
