When a game shows so much promise and yet doesn't have a lot of funding, that's always impressive to see. Rather than a ton of developers working on the same title with limitless resources, one developer dedicates their lives to creating something that shakes up the gaming industry. This is happening with <em>ITTA<\/em>, a unique boss-rush style adventure game created by Jacob Williams.\r\n\r\nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ceQ1yJSq20g\r\n\r\nThat's right. This game dripping in personality was created by one person, and even still, it looks like one of the better offerings set to come out in 2020. You get to play a young girl armed with her father's revolver, who's going to hell and back to find truths that could impact the rest of her life.\r\n\r\nShe wakes up around her dead family. Lost and confused, Itta knows she has to get vengeance somehow. Guiding her throughout her quest for justice is an interesting spirit cat, who essentially acts as her mentor. Sounds like a dream, doesn't it?\r\n\r\nThere are a total of 18 deadly bosses you'll have the pleasure of waging war with. The developer didn't leave you ill-equipped to battle these towering and often monstrous titans, though. As you progress through the intense action, Itta will be able to acquire a bevvy of weapons -- each with unique attributes. That's where the progression system kicks in. You're always looking for new ways to approach combat, which is pretty fast-paced and not for the faint of heart.\r\n\r\n<em>ITTA<\/em> is also interesting in the fact that there is an invincibility mode that you can enable whenever you want. So if some of the enemies or bosses get a little too difficult for your liking, you can become an unstoppable force and also gain a multiplayer on your damage.\r\n\r\nThat's a pretty unique design that a lot of games in this space don't have. It seems like the developer wants to give players a break when they need it, which should come in handy if you don't have a lot of experience playing these intense, action-oriented games.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the combat, you'll also enjoy the narrative. A vile tragedy occurred to Itta without any rhyme or reason. Throughout her journey, you'll discover dark secrets that keep you on the edge of your seat. 2020 has only just began, but this game certainly is showing a lot of potential. Expect to see an official release date sometime relatively soon. It's definitely one to keep an eye out for.
