The sixth week of LEC was great.

While the top 4 is clear between Origen/G2 Esports/Fnatic/Rogue, the bottom tier teams standings are unclear. Vitality is the only team to be the indisputed 10th place for now.

SK Gaming vs Misfits

Gangplank / Trundle / Cassiopeia / Ezreal / Senna vs Vladimir / Sejuani / Lucian / Varus / Tahm Kench

SK Gaming seem to be unable to find themselves, even though their draft was quite good, Misfits completely demolished them. The loss of their jungler in the offseason put a big dent into the roster from which they did not recover yet.

Misfits Gaming on the other hand keep looking better and better.

Mad Lions vs Excel

Sett / Olaf / Zoe / Kalista / Taric vs Renekton / Karthus / Tristana / Aphelios / Thresh

MAD Lions have improved a lot compared to the first weeks of the season, but still have a good way to go before having a safe spot for Spring Playoffs. Excel on the other hand with Youngbuck as their coach keep improving. Their individual gameplay coupled with the macro from the coach seems to have a great success on their games and it keeps bringing them wins.

Fnatic vs Schalke 04

Sett / Lee Sin / Diana / Aphelios / Tahm Kench vs Mordekaiser / Rek’sai / Azir / Xayah / Rakan

Schalke 04 have improved a lot compared to their Forg1ven days. Rek’sai secured a lot of early advantage and there was a small light going in to the mid game. But while they are having success, they still have some flaws, which the veterans of Fnatic were able to exploit and secure a win to get first in LEC.

Fnatic seem to be currently tied with G2 based on mechanical prowess coupled with macro gameplay.

Rogue vs Origen

Ornn / Lee Sin / Le’Blanc / Ezreal / Yuumi vs Renekton / Gragas / Corki / Aphelios / Leona

Origen are on track to contest the top standing from Fnatic and G2. Their drafting phase are really good, their individual mechanics are on point as well. There are some flaws from a macro point of view, but generally speaking they are looking great. This allowed them to win the game without issues.

Rogue while they want to be top 4, still have some flaws which they need to fix.

G2 Esports vs Vitality

Vladimir / Rek’sai / Akali / Senna / Taric vs Ornn / Lee Sin / Ryze / Miss Fortune / Rakan

G2 Esports slaughtered Vitality. While bot side was more or less even, Akali alongside Vladimir with the help from Rek’sai snowballed the game out of control and kept going for picks on the squishy players of Vitality, leaving them in a 4v5 fight in an instant.

Vitality seems to be the worst team in the LEC right now and need to step it up heavily.

That is all for  Week 6, Day 2 coverage of LEC 2020, stay tuned for more in the upcoming days.
