Ubisoft just launched another discovery tour mode on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Similar to the previously launched discovery tour on ancient Egpyt, this tour will be battle-free and more story-driven; which allows players to be completely immersed in the Greece setting of the game; a unique experience that they will never be able to get from other mediums.

It has been almost a year since the launch of the game, but the game developer still riding on the momentum and keep giving out free updates to enthralled fans.

This exclusive tour, called Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece, will bring players across the world of museums, stunning archeology, and the game’s world itself. This tour is an attempt by the game developer to create another tool within the game; a device that meant for players to learn and have fun, more accessible to various people.

In this mode, players can travel across 29 regions and unveil hundreds of stations. The tour will be based on five distinct themes, including popular cities, day-to-day life, myths, religion and arts, politics and philosophy, as well as war and battles. Each subject allows players to truly understand the different periods and bring them closer to the history of olden Greece.

Furthermore, players will get the opportunity of being toured personally by legendary and fictional personalities, including Herodotos, Leonidas, and more. The interactions with the tour guides will provide players with more of the human touch and lighten up the mood of the entire tour.

The angle of the camera that took on dynamic display liven the atmosphere and further increase the beauty of the ancient place.

Players that took the tour will not only gain historical knowledge; they will also receive rewards as long as they passed the challenging quizzes. So aside from enjoying the beauty of the ancient settings, players should pay attention to the details along the way. Rewards that players can get include unique avatars and mounts that players can use when roaming around the whole map.

For now, the tour supports over ten languages, including English, French, German, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Spanish.

Interested players can find out more about the new update on the developer’s official site. This tour will be available for free for all players that already own the main game. Players need to install the updates. Nevertheless, the tour mode can also as get it as a standalone version on Uplay.
