On the shores of a nearby lake is the body of a young woman named Martha. Her twin sister is the one who discovers her remains. Her twin sister has to find out what really happen while the war lurks closer to her home.

Regarding the game, the developer states that this is a game that merges the power of PCs and next-gen consoles. The company has taken lessons learned from developing The Town of Light to create Martha is Dead.

The title was created with the Unreal Engine 4 to create an impressive visual experience. The developer also states that the title was co-funded by the Creative Europe Media Programme of the European Union.

Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions, stated:

Now players have next-generation consoles in their hands, it’s exciting to watch Martha is Dead take shape on both PlayStation and the Xbox family of devices. The game builds upon developer LKA’s signature style of deep, multi-layered narratives and was always intended to be a multi-platform release that raises expectations of what can be achieved by an indie studio on next-generation hardware and PC.

Those interested in following the development of the game can wishlist it on Steam now to get notifications about news announcements or follow the developer on Twitter or Twitch.

Additional images and videos of Martha is Dead are also available on Steam and the developer’s YouTube channel.
