The World of Warcraft community is anticipating the colossal content update that is Visions of N’Zoth. With it comes a variety of new in-game features, including a new raid called Ny’alotha, the Waking City, a new instanced mode called Horrific Visions, and the latest pet battle dungeon in Blackrock Depths.

Another great thing coming with this update is the addition of two new Allied Races! Horde players will be able to role a vulpera, and Alliance a mechagnome.

Vulpera

Here is a quick bio of the vulpera on Blizzard’s website: “Clever and resourceful, the vulpera of Vol’dun have survived amidst the sands for generations. Eager to join the ranks of the Horde, their caravans have departed from the dunes in search of adventure.”

The classes that a vulpera can play are a Warrior, Monk, Priest, Hunter, Warlock, Shaman, Mage, and Rogue.

The vulpera has a trait called Bag of Tricks, which will cause damage to an enemy or heal an ally. Vulpera can also use Rummage Your Bag to change the contents of their Bag of Tricks.

Vulpera can set up camp when they are outdoors using Make Camp, and teleport to the camp using Return to Camp.

A vulpera has a passive trait called Nose for Trouble. It reduces the damage a vulpera takes from the first strike of an enemy.

Horde gamers that play this new Allied race will enjoy the trait Vulpera Survival Kit. This will allow the vulpera to find extra goods when they loot a humanoid. Vulpera also has a higher resistance to fire than other classes.

Blizzard does warn gamers that the racial abilities listed above are still subject to change!

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth gamers won’t be able to start power leveling a vulpera right away. There are a few in-game tasks that need to be completed before that’s the case.

Players need to reach exalted with the Voldunai faction. They also need to complete multiple storylines and earn the achievement Secrets in the Sands. The storylines are as follows: Unlikely Allies, The Warguard’s Fate, The Three Keepers, Atul’Aman, Dangers in the Desert, A City of Secrets, and Storming the Spire.

Once the gamer has completed these tasks, they will receive the questline to unlock the vulpera. Once these quests are complete, Horde players will then be able to play a vulpera as any of the playable classes listed above!
