Team17 has released a new Overcooked 2 bundle, Overcooked 2 Gourmet Edition Pack, that includes multiple DLCs plus additional playable cooks. \n \nThe new bundle is available as either a 5.4 GB download or as a physical release. \n \n \n \n"Overcooked returns with a brand-new helping of chaotic cooking action! Journey back to the Onion Kingdom and assemble your team of chefs in classic couch co-op or online play for up to four players. Hold onto your aprons … it’s time to save the world (again!)" states the game's official summary. "You’ve saved the world from the Ever Peckish. Now a new threat has arisen and it’s time to get back in the kitchen to stave off the hunger of The Unbread!" \n \nOvercooked 2 comes with the base game along with every DLC released so far. \n \n"Carnival of Chaos" was a carnival-themed DLC that included combo meals, cannons to launch chefs faster across each of the 15 new levels, plus four new chefs. \n \n"Night of the Hangry Horde" included the Unbread with a new horde mode, 12 new levels, plus four new chefs that brought back the Boxhead chef from the first game. \n \n"Campfire Cook Off" brought players outdoors with camping themes. There were 15 new levels plus wearable backpacks that helped chefs carry essential ingredients to prepare meals faster. \n \n"Surf 'n' Turf" was a beach-themed DLC with more recipes, chefs, and 12 story levels. Players could use a handy water pistol to clean dishes quickly. \n \n"The Too Many Cooks Pack" contains five new chefs, including a Monkey, Calico Cay, Walrus, Purple Alien, and Unicorn. \n \nIn total, there are 58 chefs, 130 kitchens, 26 recipes, plus co-op multiplayer either online or local. There's plenty of content for those looking for a fast-paced game to play either alone or with a few friends online. \n \nThe game was launched with a temporary discount that won't last long. \n \nThere is no information on if there's more content planned for Overcooked 2. For now, buying the new bundle is the best way to get the most content without having to spend too much. \n \nFor those who already own the base game, the Season Pass gives access to all DLC and additional packs without having to pay more. \n \nOvercooked 2 Gourmet Edition was released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One first. The PC edition is scheduled for launch on April 16.
