Gamers would have an exciting new year as 2020 marks the arrival of two cyberpunk RPG titles.

Cyberpunk is known as a genre that features the lowlife in an environment filled with advanced technologies. Meanwhile, RPG is a type of video game wherein the gamers have to take control of their chosen characters. They need to achieve the role-playing game’s objective by maximizing and optimizing their characters’ abilities.

When these two genres are combined, it is expected that exciting gameplay is developed. And this is what gamers are looking forward to the release of cyberpunk RPG Gamedec and Cyberpunk 2077.

While these two have adopted a similar theme, their approach and interpretation are different. The former talks about crimes in a virtual world, while the latter features a mercenary.

The following are among the reported details of Gamedec:

• The game, which Anshar Studios developed, is based on the book of Marcin Przybyłek.

• The story takes place in Warsaw’s dodgy area, the Low City, with a private detective as the main protagonist.

• Low City lies above the ruins of the old Warsaw.

• The game puts a balance in combats and the character’s quests for peace within Low City.

• The cyberpunk RPG Gamedec allows gamers to choose their abilities and skills, which they think could help them the most.

• A cyberpunk-ruled environment fills every corner of Low City. One can see gangsters hanging all over the place. Night clubs are also a common sight in the metropolis.

• The game is home to scavengers, too. These are the people who are rummaging into Warsaw’s ruins. They are looking for artifacts that they can piece together to get a full account of the town’s history.

On the other hand, Cyberpunk 2077 features the following:

• The game is the latest title to drop under the Cyberpunk series of CD Projekt Red.

• Built on REDengine 4.0, the game is expected to support ray tracing and other impressive effects.

• Marcin is also involved in this game. However, it is not the same person who is part of Gamedec. In Cyberpunk 2077, Marcin Przybylowicz is not a book author but a music director.

• Every attribute or detail of the main character, V, can be customized. Thus, gamers can choose the features to complete the physical appearance of the game’s protagonist. Options for skills are available, as well.

• The dystopian game happens in California, particularly in Night City, which has six different regions. These include the City Center, Westbrook, Santo Domingo, Pacifica, Heywood, and Watson.

• Cyberpunk 2077 has a release date of April 16, 2020.

Keep posted for more news and updates about these two forthcoming cyberpunk RPG titles.
