If you’re active in the MMORPG community, you’ve likely heard the news that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is getting its prepatch tomorrow! This prepatch is bringing a massive number of changes to the title.

From class reworks, to level squishes, to customization additions, there’s plenty to keep an eye on. But with so much being added, it’s easy to forget about what’s being taken out!

For better and for worse, there’s a massive amount being taken out, and some of these things are never to return or to become much more difficult to obtain. While some items are being phased away, some will become completely unobtainable due to being expansion or season-specific.

Yesterday, we discussed the Brawler’s Guild and the rewards there that will be removed. The Brawler’s Guild will be shutting down until a later date starting tomorrow, and there’s no telling what rewards will or will not return, so it’s safest to assume it’ll all go away.

But the Brawler’s Guild and a crocodile mount are far from the only things being taken away! For example, the entirety of the Corruption mechanic will be removed, which will be making endgame content significantly more difficult due to a primary source of power being removed.

The Ny’alotha raiding achievements will be leaving, for example – though only the ones for the Heroic and Mythic N’zoth kills. Ahead of the Curve: N’Zoth the Corruptor and Cutting Edge: N’Zoth the Corruptor will be removed as obtainable achievements.

In Mythic+, there’s much more being removed. The Awakened Mindborer mount will be taken away, as the Keystone Conqueror and Master achievements are being taken away with the ending of Season 4. The Awakened title will also be removed.

In PvP, there’s a large amount being removed. The Corrupted Gladiator title will be removed as the Corrupted Gladiator: Battle for Azeroth Season 4 is being taken out. Hero of the Alliance/Horde: Corrupted is being removed as well.

The Corrupted Gladiator’s Proto-Drake leaves as a result of this. Duelist, Rival, Combatant, and Challenger will be taken out with the season’s end, as well as the Elite BfA Season 4 PvP Sets. Gladiator and Elite for the season are being removed as well.

Players also have their last chance to buy the legendary Longboi mount, the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur, for 5,000,000 gold. After tomorrow, it’ll only be obtainable from the Black Market Auction House! Make sure that you scoop up your Longboi before it gets put up for an even more outrageous price.
