Ghost Recon Breakpoint just received a considerable facelift from Ubisoft in the form of Title Update 1.0.3.
It has been widely publicized that Breakpoint has had a poor reception among Ghost Recon fans since its launch in October.
Breakpoint was supposed to be Ubisoft’s next blockbuster because its predecessor Ghost Recon Wildlands was such a huge success.
However, players have been less than impressed with the game mechanics and overall tedious nature of Breakpoint. This has led to lackluster sales, much lower then Ubisoft anticipated, which is a huge reason why the company had to lower their revenue projections.
To mitigate the terrible fan reception of Breakpoint, Ubisoft came out a few weeks back and announced a roadmap of updates that will help alleviate some of the issues that Breakpoint gamers have.
Today, November 12, they released a massive 7 GB update on all platforms jammed full with an enormous number of fixes and improvements to the game.

Here are some highlights of the patch notes Ubisoft released:
Ubisoft fixed a lot of things, including:
• issues with the drone that would stop the drone from deploying
• a bug that would spawn players under the map
• an issue where changing fire rate while ADS deployed the drone
• improvements were made on the issue where scopes would flicker when players ADS
• fixed a prioritization problem where vehicle interaction would take priority over a mission interaction
• an issue where the “Mission Completed” tutorial pop-up would come up after every loading screen
• while in cover, a player can now do a camera shoulder swap. It will also rotate the main character on the spot
• fixed a bug that would cause players to get stuck when they used a frag grenade or abilities while Panthera Class was equipped
These are just a few highlights in an extremely long and comprehensive list. Ubisoft fixed things for AI, Animation, Audio, Bivouac, Camera, Chat, Gameplay, Cover System, Loot, Menu, Missions, NVG, Online, PC, Photomode, Ghost War, Save, Character, Stamina, UI, Vehicles, Visual, Weapons, World, and Battle Rewards System.
It’s amazing to see how long this list actually is.
Even with such an extensive fix, Breakpoint is far from saved. Ubisoft is not done yet with the updates, but this was a great stride forward.
It will be interesting to hear the feedback from Breakpoint players about the Title Update. Will it change their opinion about the game or is it too little too late?
