World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is filled with factions for players to earn rewards from. The only thing is, earning the reputation needed to unlock most of these is going to be a bit of a slog, especially if you intend to go all the way up to maxing it out at Exalted.

The good news is, the Faire is coming to town to make it a bit easier! This Sunday, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands players will be able to jump over to the Darkmoon Faire and grab a quick buff to make reputation gains a bit quicker.

Every time the Darkmoon Faire arrives in town, players quickly make their way to the festivvities to hop onto the carousel or roller coaster. Doing so gives the buff “Whee!”, which aside from being adorably named, also provides a 10% buff to reputation and experience gains.

Obviously, grabbing this 10% buff is going to make any reputation grind smoother, and since it affects the gains themselves, there’s few sources that won’t benefit from this. World Quests, normal quests, and Callings will all have their gains increased.

But there are a few weekly quests that players can finish that many are advising players to wait on throughout the week until they can get the 10% buff. These weekly quests provide a high amount of reputation, so adding the 10% to them brings it considerably higher.

If you’ve really been on your grind, there’s a good chance you’re already exalted with the core reputations. If you’ve already managed that, you have Paragon rewards to work towards, so waiting is still an excellent idea to speed the way along to those rewards!

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands offers numerous ways to grind reputation out rather quickly, including World Quests, Callings, table missions, weekly quests, and a few other methods. This makes getting your reputations up much easier than before.

Many went ahead and grinded their reputations as high as they could in preparation for whenever Blizzard intends to implement Pathfinder for the Shadowlands, the meta-achievement that provides travel buffs to players that accomplish it.

This is typically how Blizzard has rewarded flying in previous expansions, so many are expecting to see the same implemented into the Shadowlands at some point. Exalted with the core reputations – as well as a few others – is always a requirement.

Whether you want to grab something from a faction’s quartermaster or prepare for Pathfinder, this Sunday’s buff will provide an excellent way to quickly level your professions.
