Payday 2 has been a bit of a tumultuous story through its life span that began on August 13, 2013, with heaps of controversies throughout it.

From developers promising no microtransactions (there are currently $131 of microtransactions available on Steam) to simply opting to not support platforms that they rolled the title out for, it’s fair to say that it has been a rocky road thus far for the developers at Overkill, made even more difficult by its publisher (and owner) Starbreeze struggling to make sound decisions.

On the PC, however, it almost appears that there have been no controversies whatsoever.

The consistent updates and content that continues to pour forth for those that happened to gamble on the platform that Overkill would actually support bodes well, and even the overall reviews are positive with 87% of 285,000+ users.

The controversy that occurred back in late October of 2015 has all but been forgotten by the majority of users, for better or worse; a minor blip on the radar of a title that is inching closer to reaching a full decade of support. Now, Overkill has reached a milestone with Payday 2; the 200th content update that is available, piecemealed across four purchasable DLCs that could, alternatively, be purchased as a bundle.

Only one of them actually offers access to a new heist, Buluc’s Mansion Heist which is purchasable for $6.99 as a standalone.

Along with the Mansion Heist DLC comes a separate DLC called Payday 2: Tailor Pack 3 that offers two new outfits (with four color variations each) and gloves, available for $2.99.

Even more excitingly, if colors get you foaming at the mouth, is the Payday 2: Weapon Color Pack 3 that offers 20 new colors to apply to your weapon, for an additional $2.99.

Arguably the meatiest DLC that comes with this is the Payday 2: Gunslinger Weapon Pack that offers three new weapons to blast enemies with: a sniper rifle, shotgun, and a revolver with nine additional mods that can augment your weapons.

You can purchase all of this as a singular bundle for $10.04, instead of purchasing them separately; if you’re looking only for actual content, however, you’ll want to opt for the Buluc’s Mansion Heist; granted, it isn’t a far cry for three more dollars to receive the three other packs to at least tinker with while you’re blowing open opulent doors.

Buluc’s Mansion Heist marks the end of the Silk Road campaign, the final chapter of an arc that has been filled with decent story beats and some new variety to bring your hardened criminal friends through.
