Devil May Cry 5 has been an immensely popular game that carries the storied franchise forward. The compelling story, addicting hack and slash action, and improved graphics have gone over well, but it doesn’t look like the journey is over for this action-adventure game from Capcom.

In a recent PlayStation blog post and trailer, Capcom confirmed that a Special Edition is on the way for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It will feature better graphics with real-time ray tracing, as well as include Dante’s brother Vergil as a playable character.

That’s great news if you’re looking to experience this beloved installment for the first time or are a returning player that wants to see what a next-gen Devil May Cry can do. This series has always been praised for its beautiful visuals, but this Special Edition is poised to take things up a notch.

There is more good news too. According to Capcom, this Special Edition will include a Turbo Mode where players can enjoy even faster sequences. There’s also a Legendary Dark Knight difficulty geared toward the more advanced players.

Also, you have the crowd anxiously waiting to get their hands on the next-gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft.

Things have heated up recently between the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Both are sporting amazing specs, with the Xbox Series X edging out this department. However, it is the PlayStation 5 that seems to be leading the race in game exclusives.
