It’s likely that Call of Duty: Warzone, the Battle Royale mode for Modern Warfare, will be officially revealed later today, as several reports claim that the mode will be released on Tuesday, March 10. But, gameplay from MW’s Battle Royale expansion was leaked ahead of Infinity Ward’s official reveal courtesy of YouTuber Chaos, who showed gameplay from an early access version. Of course, the video has since been deleted.

The now-deleted video confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone will be a standalone application and that it’ll be free to play. So, you don’t need to own the base version of Modern Warfare to download Warzone.

The leaked video also confirmed that, like in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the Warzone Battle Royale will support crossplay. The mode will also allow players to drop in solo, in a duo, or a squad, it’ll be capable of hosting up to 150 players per match, and it’ll have two modes.

There will be a variety of vehicles in Call of Duty: Warzone, including helicopters, ATVs, trucks and more. The mode will also feature killstreaks, which will allow players to call in things like airstrikes or a UAV. Also, unlike with other Battle Royale games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, you can earn respawn tokens while playing MW’s version, so death isn’t the end in Warzone.

Even though Chaos’ video is no longer available, it’ll probably be made available shortly after Infinity Ward’s official reveal. So, if you missed it, you’ll be able to check it out later.

Over the last few months, reports have suggested that Call of Duty: Warzone would be capable of hosting up to 200 players per match, and a recent report claimed that Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale expansion would be a squads-only mode.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale expansion was rumored before the game was released back in October, and since then, there has been no shortage of leaks regarding Warzone, most of which have proven to be correct.

According to Call of Duty YouTuber The Gaming Revolution, Infinity Ward will officially reveal Warzone later today at around noon central time, which is 10 AM Pacific and 1 PM Eastern. So, we’re only a few hours away from officially learning the details.
