The tenth expansion pack for The Sims 4, Snowy Escape, was recently revealed on Tuesday. After the reveal aired on YouTube, the Global Community Manager, SimGuruGrost, announced the gameplay livestream date for later this month.
The livestream will contain massive spoilers for the new pack, so those who want to be surprised should avoid it for now. The steamer will go over the brand new world of Mt. Komorebi, including the neighborhood, community lots, residential lots, and the newly added activities.
Players will also see some of the new clothing, accessories, makeup, and other Create-A-Sim content. Builders won’t be left out either. The pack contains several Japanese-themed items, from hot springs shoji screens, doors, and windows, tatami mat floors, zen gardens, kotatsu tables, and hot spring areas.
Although the game does feature snowy weather, it does not require the Seasons EP. The Seasons EP would compliment Snowy Escape nicely but isn’t necessary.
Simmers, we know you're eager to learn more about #Sims4SnowyEscape and we'll have a lot more info to share/show during our livestream on Oct 30th @ 11AM PT w/ host @SimGuruGraham. So please save your questions until then. Hope to see you there! 😊🛷 pic.twitter.com/6xCozlblqZ

Snowy Escape will have many new outdoor and indoor activities for Sims to enjoy. Some of the biggest highlights were cable cars that take Sims on top of snowy slopes for snowboarding, skiing, and sledding with friends. More adventurous Sims can go on expeditions on dangerous mountains or climb up Mt. Komorebi.
Sims who prefer to stay on the ground can enjoy a big group meal around a kotatsu. Others can enjoy a soak in the giant hot springs area, complete with a sauna.
The pack’s full details, including screenshots and the new trailer, are now available on the official The Sims 4 website. Players can also pre-order the game now to download and install it immediately after it launches in November.
The new expansion pack will, fortunately, launch on the same day for both PC and console players. The Sims team has made this possible for the past few releases. However, the updates have not all been on the same day. Players on all platforms should make sure their games are updates are up-to-date before the EP comes out.
The Snowy Escape livestream will occur on October 30 at 11 AM PST and will be hosted by SimGuruGraham. The livestream will air on both the official The Sims YouTube and Twitch channels.
The Sims 4: Snowy Escape launches on November 13 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
