This new trailer isn’t as impressive and exciting as their Predator-inspired trailer for The Prophet and The Warlock. Much like the trailer introducing the Salamanders, viewers won’t really see much action. It’s not until the end of the video where viewers would see something interesting. In this recent trailer, a clever new device which will be part of the upcoming DLC is introduced. Behold the Doom Flayers! The trailer starts off with the design of the Doom Flayers. Since its development is still in progress, what viewers can see now may still change. But as per the description, Doom Flayers is a motorized spherical iron of spinning blades. This device is created by the Warlock Engineers of Clan Skryre. It is made by piecing together various scraps and powering it by warp stone core. Players will be able to ride these Doom Flayers similar to how unicycles work. With all the blades and spikes covering the motorized wheel, the device will deliver maximum carnage. Any enemy on the battlefield caught in its path will suffer and be shredded. As can be seen on the trailer, the device gives off a motorbike revving sound as they mow down everything. The Doom Flayers are similar in a lot of ways to a miniature version of the Skaven Doomwheel. This device is fully maneuverable and travels across an area fast. This makes it a perfect and efficient mount and weapon rolled in one for every player. Ikit Claw can be seen mounting one of these devices into a battlefield in the trailer. And there’s no doubt this would also be made available for the brand new Warlock Master. This device is just one of planned Skaven units being added into the upcoming DLC for Total War: Warhammer 2. More unit types, campaign mechanics, Regiments of Renown, and Legendary Lords will be added to the DLC. And these aren’t only for the Skaven factions, but also for the Lizardmen.
