Ubisoft has announced Season 15 for The Division 2, Crossroads-the players have already rushed to the new content, but there have been some grumbles. This season introduces new gameplay modifiers for that much-needed flavor and of course, an update is hardly ever flawless. Strange things have pleased some players, while bugs, glitches, and imbalances have driven others mad.

So what’s special about Crossroads? The most rudimentary one is Hard-Core, and it affects builds whose core source is attribute scores such as Firearms, Stamina, and Electronics. These scores receive buffs on killing marked enemies and stacking cores so that players may find more ways to perfect loadouts. Active Modifiers offer a kind of temporary buff, while Passive ones affect perks in the long term. Doesn’t that seem like a fair idea? Well, for the most part it definitely does. To name one, some report that modifiers like Ragers just don’t work. Yet another typical Ubisoft launch.

Then the Battle for Brooklyn DLC comes with new zones, enemies, and an exotic mask, though consensus is far from reached. One outright called it “dead dog sold to a blind child,” claiming that the game just isn’t worth its price. Ouch. Others, however, were a lot more generous in the fine print and just enjoy new content in lighter spirit despite the hiccups. The seasonal journey has gotten a lot more flexible too, rewarding players who are grinding at their own pace—well, unless they are trying to push through the Game Pass event itself, which sounds broken for most of the people.

More on bugs: Backup Call is now broken. Agents are having problems receiving Shepherd bonuses, while some aren’t gaining any rep points even after calling Backup to assist fellow agents. In frustration, an agent tweeted “There are no backup calls going out. You need to fix it.” Another one later commented, “Pistol damage feels like trash rn since a level 30 sidearm literally beats everything else.” Dumb little annoyances, but they will bag on your enjoyment when you’re grinding.

Fashion police aren’t going to give a break either. An agent pleaded to Ubisoft to let one-strap backpacks work with more outfits, because apparently being able to look cool is just as important as surviving the apocalypse. Priorities, people.

But some of the things to complain about just can’t outweigh the things worth loving. These new modifiers certainly bring in more layers, while the DLC expands the world and places the seasonal structure more at the player’s behest than ever before. But, with still more bugs, along with a couple that will make you scratch your head, Crossroads definitely isn’t the clean victory Ubisoft wanted it to be. Here’s hoping for a soon patch from the devs because right now, the only thing harder than this new content is trying to navigate around the bugs.
