The hype train has arrived: Season Crossroads and Battle for Brooklyn DLC modules in The Division 2 are set to be released tomorrow. Ubisoft threw in a tweet to that effect, along with a link to the full overview (which, were I you, I’d totally click). Now back to the subject at hand: The players aren’t just talking about the new content; no, they give that 7-hour maintenance window the side-eye the way one would look sideways at a rogue agent in the Dark Zone.

So what’s the issue here? The downtime will begin at 15:00, Beijing time (9:00 AM CEST), and roll on until 22:00; it has just wiped out an evening full of gaming for Asia and cut into prime gaming hours for Europe and North America. Grok, the pretty analytical one, outright said that the timing appears to be to favor the Western time zones, which, well, pretty much. But hey, better 7 hours than 24, like some games have to endure (cough World of Warcraft cough).

Then that would mean the Division community is sort of a mixed bag: a little hype, a lot of skepticism, and memed into oblivion. Then the majority are hyped by it, just like Michael Turner (@bitlatetothis): “Really looking forward to this, thanks guys.” But then you have the doom-and-gloom prophets like Stuart (@StuartLibby): “I’m going to predict either we’ll have issues with our characters or you’ll break the game and servers will be down a few days.” Classic.

Then DLC pricing shows up: Diego Braz (@deogovakin) stoked up the drama: “Anyone who bought the Gold or Ultimate edition before April 23, 2025, will NOT be entitled to the DLC.” Hold on—did he just say that? So that means the high-priced editions of the game ALL want another payment? That is… a decision. Ubisoft hasn’t responded yet, but the players are already side-eyeing their wallets.

And the 7 hours? Pat Mygroin (@MygroinPat) joked, “Are you going rogue?” while BLACK TVSK (@BLACK_TVSK) just stared into the abyss: “Wait… how many hours? 👀” The consensus: Maintenance always outlasts the estimate. Devyn (@DevynMykel) said, “Someone didn’t play WONY on release—was down a full 24 hours. So 7 hrs is awesome if that holds true.”

And… about the actual content, right? The Battle for Brooklyn DLC is sprouting a new zone, new missions, and probably loads of loot (because it’s The Division). Season Crossroads sounds like it’s set to have some narrative twists and new grind opportunities. However, guys like mani (@kinghold09) are already hitting the real questions: “Can we get a new RAID???”

Bottom line: Tomorrow’s update could either go big or well… big mess. Either way, The Division 2’s community is ready, loaded, and prepared to whine (or celebrate) in equal measure. And if the servers crash? At least we got our memes.

So Agents, go ahead and clear those schedules, charge those controllers, and hey, maybe… go outside for those 7? Nah. Who are we kidding? See you in Brooklyn.
