Alright, agents, get ready for some huge content drops in The Division 2. Ubisoft announced a Twitch stream to celebrate the Battle for Brooklyn DLC and Season 01 of Crossroads happening on Monday, May 26, 4PM CEST/10AM EST. Hype is already whirling around with that announcement.

And what exactly is Battle for Brooklyn? It puts agents back in Brooklyn, to where it all began. So, the very streets of the original title but now with jumping-and-running action all the way with the upgraded mechanics of The Division 2. Of course, the new season Crossroads is still under wraps, yet, judging by past seasons, the arrival of new mission content alongside new gear and convoluted story twists should be expected.

Now for the community to go insane. The usual mixed bag of opinions. High expectations from some of the players. “I don’t care what nobody say!!! I love this game it’s a masterpiece,” said @warriormonger blatantly on Twitter. On one hand, doubts are creeping in: “If you’re a PvP player then nope, if you’re a PvE only player then have at it,” said @Slay3r881 to another user asking if it is worth jumping back in. Generic Division discourse-love it or hate it, yet you have to acknowledge it.

Then come the usual technical questions. “Does it drop at midnight or do we gotta wait for the server restart?” asked @KomplexSanity. This is honestly a good question. And @MagGamerInc demanded, “Can the managers at @UbiMassive post a release time for global launch?” Fair enough. We all want to know when to jump in.

And let’s not forget the silly things: “Will the enemies still be running blocks away from us?” @Debonair_Corvus goes. Bruh, if you’ve played Division, YOU KNOW that’s a serious concern. Chasing a rogue agent halfway across D.C. is something else indeed.

Eh, but not everyone is excited. “@TheDivisionGame I won’t buy it,” said @KosetsuSlays. Bold move, but hey, to each their own. Acts of @adoredrose_ in contrast: “I’m so excited 😍”—that pretty much describes me.

There are a few individuals appreciating the timing as well. “@TheDivisionGame God bless you for having this on my day off work, appreciate it!” said @takeshikitano3. Same here, Jeremy. Same here.

So, what’s the verdict? If you happen to be a Division fan, then this show is probably going to be good to watch. Brand new stuff, returning locations, and who knows what else Ubisoft might be hiding up its sleeve. Now, if you’re reluctant, well… the Twitch show might be just the thing to lure you in. Mark your calendar; May 26 should be a grand day for agents across the land.

In case you miss it, worry not; the internet will mostly be flooded with clips, break-downs, and possibly some salt about enemy AI-yay. Because this is how we function in The Division. See you in Brooklyn, agents. Maybe bring some extra ammo.
