There was a congratulatory tweet towards Napoli for bearing their fourth Scudetto from EA Sports FC, and one would have thought the celebration would commence from there. Not really. The reply was chaos. Was it perhaps because people were angrier about FIFA (sorry, EA Sports FC) than rejoicing over the Napoli win?
First of all, the tweet was very short; “Champions of Italy. Congratulations to @sscnapoli on lifting their fourth Scudetto.” Nice, huh? And the replies? Buckle up! Immediately, fans ratcheted up beautiful moments to complain about the game. @_ethann3 called out outright: “fix career mode,” and @LetsNini screamed, “BATTLEFRONT 3.” Classic!
Now, for the whines about graphics. @bernardodranreb was really not impressed and went to say that the cutscenes looked like “a 2013 video game.” And @NovaGreen1 continued to rant: “Why are player faces so funny and not realistic?” Dude, it’s 2025 for God’s sake! Where’s the next-gen polish?
But that is where the gameplay real drama begins. @Dylanmo77068669 posted a clip from a match where technically, the servers crashed and gave him a loss that he did not honestly deserve, tagged EA, and furiously said: “EXPLAIN THIS??” Meanwhile, @craszit declared that EA was making “ill-gotten money” and is turning the blind eye toward cheats. Yikes!
Not many were throwing threats, though. Other posters, like @AmirMushich, sent a few trophy emojis. Still, @TommieDucker came out with the information that there are actually some Napoli players without even basic cards in EA FC25. How does the champion team not get proper recognition in the game?
Then there are random demands. @futstatstracker begged for a player update, @RyanRic20823190 screamed “Battlefront 3!!!!!” once more, and @WillAfterDark0 said, “stop releasing your bullshit ass game.” Harsh, but fair?
So yes, EA tried to make a good thing out of it, but the fans had other plans. The replies turned into a full-blown roasting session about all the flaws of EA Sports FC rather than celebrating Napoli. Will EA listen? Most probably not. But hey, at least Napoli got their trophy.
That was one day in the crazy sporting world of sports gaming, where even a victory tweet cannot escape the venom of passionately annoyed players. Maybe a snarky thought- next time, EA should just… fix the game.
