Nintendo has announced a significant update for Ring Fit Adventure. The update includes a new Rhythm Game along with a Jogging option. Plays now have a few more options within the game to get active.

Along with the update announcement was a new trailer detailing the new features. The video contains a real-life person demonstrating the moves along with some in-game footage.

“With the Ring-Con in hand and Leg-Strap equipped, it’s time to set out on a fitness-filled quest! Explore a fantasy adventure world to defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions using real-life exercises in Ring Fit Adventure, a fitness video game for Nintendo Switch! Jog in place to traverse grass-swept plains, do overhead shoulder presses to attack enemies, and strike some yoga poses to refill your health meter.” states the game’s overall summary.

The new update includes 17 songs from some of Nintendo’s most popular games, including Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 2. The rhythm mode has options to workout Arms and Legs or Core and Legs to different songs.

The “Jogging” option was added to both the Custom and Quick Play modes. Instead of fighting enemies, players can run through various levels like the Transient Temple or Trotter’s Grove.

For those not interested in dancing or jogging, there are other helpful options within Ring Fit Adventure. Players can create personalized workout routines with 60+ in-game exercises and 12 minigames within Quick Play mode.

Adventure Mode offers over 250 levels across 20 worlds. Even though games may be playing indoors, they can experience the colorful environments Nintendo has to offer through the game. In this mode, players will fight various monsters to continue forward.

Ring Fit Adventure has recently become more popular with players who are currently social distancing and staying indoors. The game has become increasingly hard to find, as Nintendo faced some delays in production. Some are willing to spend large amounts of money to obtain the game.

For players that currently own Ring Fit Adventure, they can update their game to access the new content now. The update should automatically apply.

The new Rhythm and Jogging update for Ring Fit Adventure is available now for the Nintendo Switch.
