The Overcooked series has been huge for those that want to get their cooking on, but not take things too seriously. Team17 has blended humor with fun gameplay perfectly and these elements come through in both installments.

If you just picked up the PS5 from Sony and are looking to add to your collection — the offerings are pretty limited at the moment — then you might want to check out Overcooked! All You Can Eat. It’s a remastered version of both games and it’s out now on the next-gen system.

Even if you’ve already played these games before, experiencing the series with better graphics and performance is worth the price of admission. Not to mention there is plenty of new content and features that give returning players something to appreciate.

The sheer volume of content included in this remastered package is rather impressive and makes it a pretty good deal you don’t want to pass up on, especially if you like games where the main goal is to have fun. There are over 200 levels, around 180 chefs, and even a new assist mode. It’s intended for those that want a more casual experience.

For example, players can use it to skip levels and access a slower recipe timeout. It’s a handy little feature that you might want to use if you’re new to the Overcooked series. Then once you feel up to speed, you can take it off and enjoy the frenetic pace that Overcooked is so famously known for.

For those perhaps checking out this package and experiencing the franchise with a fresh pair of eyes, you’re in store for an incredible time. You get to go around cooking dishes for hungry patrons. There are plenty of recipes to master, all the while obstacles are thrown your way.

No two cooking experiences are ever the same so you’re constantly having to think on the fly in a kitchen that can get pretty busy at times. The game is amazing to play with others as well.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat looks like a fun remastered package that adds new things for returning fans and those new to the franchise. The PS5 is out now and this bundle seems like a great way to test out the more advanced hardware.
