Microsoft has revealed the Next Week on Xbox games in the pipeline. Starting tomorrow until August 30, several titles will be coming to Xbox. The genres covered include motorsports, puzzle games, and action as well. In total, 17 games will be coming to the Xbox platform.
August 26
Tomorrow won’t be a busy day as only one game, Wreckfest will be released on Xbox. This is a blend between FlatOut Destruction Derby and 1989 Street Rod. Wreckfest is the spiritual successor of the FlatOut series. The racing video game is developed, and published by Bugbear Entertainment and THQ Nordic respectively.
August 27
On Tuesday, three titles will be out starting with Control, the hyped action-adventure video game developed by Remedy Entertainment. Motorsports fans should also be anxious about what MXGP 2019 as it is officially released on Xbox. The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut, the RPG by inXile Entertainment will also be out.
August 28
Wednesday will be the busiest day as seven titles are scheduled for release. The seven titles are a mixture of puzzle and adventure games. They include Vambrace: Cold Soul, Headspun, SubaraCity, Hookbots, Whipseey and the Lost Atlas, Gaijin Charenji 1: Kiss or Kill, and Legend of the Sky Fish.
August 29
Thursday will see the coming of Kamiko, an action video game that pits you against demons. Solve the puzzles as you advance through the gates known as Torii. The other Xbox game coming on this day is Agent A: A puzzle in disguise. The object of the game is to infiltrate the hideout of an enemy spy called Ruby La Rouge.
August 30
On Friday, all the remaining four games will be available. First in line is The Dark Pictures Antholy – Man of Medan, Supermassive Games’ interactive drama horror game. Fans of horror games will also lay their hands on Blair Witch. The first-person, psychological game is based on the Blair Witch’s cinematic lore. The other two titles are Newt One a 3D platformer game and Decay of Logos, an action role-playing.
There you have it folks, all the games that are coming to Xbox this week (August 26 – August 30). Already, Sony PlayStation has announced the games that will be coming to PS4, PS Vita and PSVR in the US. Nintendo has also followed suit.
On PlayStation, 23 games will be released including Control, Wreckfest, MXGP 2019 and Human Anatomy. As for Nintendo, there will be 20 new games coming to the Japanese console and in the list includes Agent A: A puzzle in disguise and Decay of Logos.
