Warhorse Studios has released its third video tutorial for Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The third tutorial covers Advanced Movement, Dynamic Node Values, Distance Tests.

For those new to the series: “Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an action role-playing video game developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is set in the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia, an Imperial State of the Holy Roman Empire, with a focus on historically accurate content.”

While the game was released on multiple platforms, the modding tools are only available for PC. The modding tools are available free on Nexus Mods, along with an extensive wiki database.

The third tutorial covers three topics: Advanced Movement, Dynamic Node Values, Distance Tests. The tutorial is a lesson on making an NPC keep moving towards Henry, the protagonist. When the NPC approaches Henry, a simple hand waving animation will play.

Not only is the topic covered in-depth in a thirteen-minute video, but there is also written documentation on the wiki. If modders have trouble with the video or a written tutorial, they can ask for help on the Nexus Mods community or the dedicated KCD message boards.

All of the tutorials build upon the previous videos. It’s highly suggested that gamers complete the earlier parts before moving forward. The final tutorial will be a completed mod.

Warhorse Studios explains that these tutorials don’t have to be precisely followed. Modders are free to come up with different ways to accomplish the end task.

Warhorse Studio’s videos are primarily in English or have English subtitles. Previously this week, the studio has begun to release Spanish audio versions of their tutorials. It’s currently unknown how many videos they plan to translate and upload on their YouTube channel.

The Modding Tools was the last project the studio planned. They previously released the final story DLC, A Woman’s Lot, starring Henry’s childhood friend, Theresa. With these new tools, modders will learn how to create new adventures for Henry, or a new character, in the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

The text versions of the tutorials are already available on the Scripting Tutorial wiki. Videos will be added under each tutorial as soon as they are released.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released in 2018, while the complete edition was released earlier this year.
