A membership costs $19.99 a month, $44.99 every three months, or $99.99 a year. It’s a great option for gamers that want access to a bunch of games, but not have to shell out a premium to enjoy them.

PlayStation Now also receives new games on a frequent basis. A new batch — in fact — is now available for the month of August. In this latest group is Hitman 2, the sequel to the highly successful and popular Hitman (2016).

It’s definitely one of the better offerings that this streaming platform has received in months and may be just the title to get a lot gamers to bite on a subscription. In Hitman 2, players will get to once again take on the role of Agent 47.

He’s one of the most skilled and deadliest assassins and there are no shortages for how he can take out opponents in the open-world environments. The environmental situations have been huge for this series’ resurgence. They give players so many epic ways to approach each contract.

From the very first mission that you accept as Agent 47, you can tell how much detail IO Interactive put into this game. Every area is just as rich and vibrant as the next. The environments just further immerse you in the game and give you plenty to look at while you’re stalking your next target.

There is so much freedom packed into Hitman 2 as well. There are suggestive paths players can take, whether it’s sniping from a distance or luring an enemy into the dark streets where no one can hear their screams. Or, you can just wing it and see what the situation calls for.

The improvisational aspect gives this game exceptional re-playability. Even after a successful hit, you just want to go back in and see how things could have been different. You’ll be chasing this feeling over and over.

There’s even online multiplayer, featuring the first-ever co-op Sniper Assassin mode. Players can eliminate targets with a friend using sniper shots. There’s the Intuitive Ghost Mode as well, which is a race to eliminate five targets.
