Hades has been one of the more beloved dungeon-crawlers with rogue-like elements. It entered Early Access on the Epic Games Store, where it would continue to sit and receive improvements until coming to Steam on December 10, 2019.

So far, gamers that have checked it out have loved almost every single aspect. From an aesthetic standpoint, it doesn’t get much better than what Hades offers. There are so many colors and fantastic details that perfectly showcase the Underworld and many other Greek mythology elements.

Moving from one area to the next is just as fun as the fast-paced combat that is easy to pick up, but time-consuming to master. It’s amazing what the developer Supergiant Games have already achieved. It’s as if Hades is a finished project even though it’s still in Early Access.

Apparently, the developer still wants to tweak some things in hopes of giving players even better experiences. As it stands now, Hades is set to leave Early Access sometime around Autumn as reported in a new animated trailer that just came out.

After several years of development, Hades is almost a finished product and that means new and returning players are in store for quite a treat. The game has just so many things going for it already that it’s hard to believe the developer could refine it even more.

The combat is every bit addicting as it is challenging. You could spend hours playing around with different character builds, which are enhanced thanks to the power of the Olympians — including Zeus, Poseidon, and Athena.

As you move through the Underworld as Zagreus — the son of Hades — you’ll come into contact with a bevvy of interesting characters that have amazing back-stories. There is plenty of character dialogue to enjoy as well as interesting plots that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Hades is also built for re-playability. Each time you move through the Underworld, there are new things to see and new interactions that immerse you into the lore even more. Even the voice-acting is superb and exactly what you would want if you were watching an animated series featuring these Greek gods.

The thought of an even better experience in Hades has a lot of gamers excited about what’s in store. The developer clearly has a huge hit on their hands. Let’s see if they can keep the momentum going leading up to this dungeon-crawler’s release.
