Fortnite gamers will have a lot to flip over in excitement. The sudden collaboration between Fortnite and OK GO has gotten leaked, an OK GO emote or a jam track for OK GO’s hit song, “Upside Down & Inside Out.” The leak occurred when the name popped briefly on the Fortnite in-game news before it was forcefully pulled out by Fortnite Corp. A very vigilant bunch of leakers, @AyubSeems and @SamLeakss, had already grabbed the data in the nick of time.

How does this work? Known to create the craziest bizarrely artistic music videos—treadmill dancing, inside a zero-gravity airplane, or working with complex Rube Goldberg machines—that’s exactly why the crossover with Fortnite is totally legit. “Upside Down & Inside Out” is the studio version originally released on their 2016 album, Hungry Ghosts, famous for its music video being shot inside a zero-G airplane where the band members appear to float and flip. If the emotes in Fortnite capture even 50 percent of that energy, then the players will be in for an unforgettable experience.

The leak set the community into frenzy with reactions ranging from excitement to utter confusion, some of which @ASCENSiON1997_ called for a jam track, describing the song as “PEAK.” While @Puppy_girl25’s entire reaction of “Who?” clearly marks someone as being out of touch with early 2000s Internet culture, @Jonesy__Default gave a good serving of contempt back: “Bro’s a newgen 😂 OK GO are internet legends.”

However, getting to that piece of information and its confirmation was not all easy. Some feared. @Tarsh1Parda went on to inquire about anything relating to other emotes missing like the alleged XXXTentacion one. @kymio0702 followed up with, “What about Madison Beer 15 minutes emote?..” because that’s what Fortnite collab rollouts feel like the least predictable.

Suggesting on the possibility that it may have ended great was the accidental drop: it was really supposed to be sooner or even today. “It probably was supposed to come out today, but because of the setback,” said @tallbttmmd. Epic hasn’t said anything yet, but given the rate at which leaks get realized (looking at you, Lady Gaga), you can bet on it absolutely going down.

For those unacquainted with OK GO’s chaotic genius, this is probably your most pertinent introduction. Their vids are pretty much Fortnite emotes in real life: elaborate, eye candy, and never dull to watch. If Epic actually manages to pull this off, it very well could be the most ingenious in-game dance ever.

No word yet on whether it’ll be a free reward, Battle Pass, or Item Shop offer, but from what we’ve seen in Fortnite, start saving those V-Bucks. But for those 10 seconds you have, if you haven’t seen the original “Upside Down & Inside Out” video, do yourself a big favor and watch it. It’s the kind of thing that makes you say, “How did they even film this?” Essentially, it’s the definition of everything Fortnite is about these days.

Keep your eyes on the Item Shop, then. The collaboration could go down in any minute, and you’ll want to be there turning upside down mid-Victory Royale.
