An AI generator has imagined the character of Red Dead Redemption 3, and they look strangely appealing. Rockstar has yet to confirm a follow-up to Red Dead Redemption, but with the success of Grand Theft Auto 6, fans have high hopes that the developer will return to the series.
There has also been fan speculation on which characters from Red Dead Redemption 2 might appear in Red Dead Redemption 3, depending on whether or not it will be a sequel or another prequel.
Red Harlow, introduced in Red Dead Revolver, is the first of four selectable characters in the Red Dead series. Although Red does not appear in either Red Dead Redemption or Red Dead Redemption 2, the first game’s events are referenced in Easter eggs, proving that the two games take place in the same universe.
John Marston and Arthur Morgan were the main characters in both games, with John’s son Jack making an appearance as an angry outlaw near the first game’s conclusion. The leader of Red Dead Redemption 3 has yet to be announced. Still, fans have suggested several names, including fan favorite Sadie Adler, who travels to Mexico after the events of Red Dead Redemption 2.
In a Reddit post, user u/Captain-Kula used artificial intelligence to create a representation of what they think the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 3 would look like. The image is remarkably faithful to the style of Rockstar’s games. The portrayed individual sports a look that is authentic to their era as well as RDR’s signature splash of Red.
The fictional lead of RDR3 looks to be African American, in contrast to John Marston and Arthur Morgan. The character wears a brown coat, scarlet neckerchief, and wide-brimmed hat, reminiscent of Arthur’s outfit from Red Dead Redemption 2.
In spite of Rockstar’s lack of formal announcement of Red Dead Redemption 3, an AI image has given fans an exciting look at the game’s potential new protagonist.
