The team recently announced the game is making its way to the PlayStation 4 this May.

John Wick Hex is a fast-paced, action-oriented strategy game that makes you think and strike like John Wick, the professional hitman of the critically acclaimed film franchise. Created in close cooperation with the creative teams behind the films, John Wick Hex is fight-choreographed chess brought to life as a video game, capturing the series’ signature gun fu style while expanding its story universe. Players must make quick decisions and choose every action and attack they make, all the while considering their immediate cost and consequences.” states the game’s official summary.

Players who are a fan of the movie series can now step into Wick’s shoes and experience the action first-hand.

The game will be updated for the PlayStation 4, specifically for the Dual Shock Controller. The developer teamed up with Ant Workshop to redesign the game experience.

John Wick Hex expands on the series’ universe with an all-new storyline, unique graphics, plus voice roles performed by Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, and Troy Baker. Players may also recognize the soundtrack by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory, who previously worked on Journey, Flow, and the Banner Saga series.

John Wick Hex is an officially licensed game. The movies are owned by Summit Entertainment, which is a part of Lionsgate.

John Wick Hex was previously released as an exclusive on the Epic Games Store in October 2019. PC and Mac players waiting to play the game will have to wait for a few more months until the game is no longer exclusive to the digital storefront.
