Harmonix, the legendary creators of Rock Band and Amplitude, have created a new rhythm shooter that lets you shoot, smash, and blast targets to the beat of a fantastic soundtrack. Using the full potential of modern VR hardware, the game immerses you in an ethereal world where you are transformed and become one with your blasters.

Fight the leaderboards as you learn the music and increase your timing and accuracy. The better your score, the higher you will rise. The game is intuitive, immersive, and breathtaking as you get to experience some intense and exciting rhythm action.

The full soundtrack available is filled with music from popular artists. David Guetta, deadmous5, Iggy Azalea, Marshmello, Zedd, and many more are packed into the soundtrack list and ready for some beat blasting action.

If you purchase the game on day one, you will receive a free five-track bonus included in your download. Each track will be available for purchase in a bundle or part of the 2019 season pass post-launch, but this is a great chance to get it free and save some money. Like any other bundle for Harmonix, you can expect a discount on the season pass.

The tracks being released for free are:

  • 5 Seconds of Summer – “Youngblood”
  • Ariana Grande – “Into You”
  • Billie Eilish – “bad guy.”
  • Imagine Dragons – “Believer”
  • Post Malone – “Better Now”

This is a small sample of what kind of music is on the horizon for Audica. Like other Harmonix products, fans are expecting the game to receive frequent updates and additions to the song list and features.

If you are a PlayStation VR player, you will also be receiving exclusive access to four free songs. These songs come with the purchase of the game and still require an active PlayStation account. The songs are as follows:

  • asms – “Reeds of Mitatrush”
  • Darren Korb ft. Ashley Barrett – “We All Become (from the Transistor: Original Soundtrack)”
  • James Egbert ft Nina Sung – “Exit Wounds”
  • James Landino – “Funky Computer”

This adds nine new songs possible for players to obtain on the release alone. This game is great for any music fans and should shake up the standard rhythm game experience. If you played and loved Beat Saber, this may be the next challenge for you to conquer in your digital music mastery.
