World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is well on its way, with the new World of Warcraft expansion being released in only two days on Monday, November 23rd. Players don’t have to wait much longer, but some might want a bit more time.
Currently, the live servers are enjoying the Scourge Invasion prepatch event, a unique event meant to set the stage and lead players into the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands content. There are tons of unique rewards to earn before the event ends at the launch of Shadowlands.
But with so many rewards, a lot of players may be missing the rewards they wanted most! There isn’t much time left, so if you’re missing something, do your best to grind it out as soon as possible or you might be forever without.
The primary example of this is likely the coveted 34-slot bag drop from Bronjahm, one of the twenty rare spawns. This boss has earned plenty of nicknames from the players at this point – Bag Boy, Bro Jam, and so many more.
Really, one might consider him to be the most notable bit of the prepatch event, with players swarming him by the hundreds for the 34-slot bag. If you haven’t gotten it yet, you might want to give it a few more tries – the item likely won’t be seen again after this expansion.
The Accursed Keepsake is also a fantastic farmable that players have been trying to find. A callback to the Haunted Memento of Wrath of the Lich King, this item has roughly a 2% drop chance from each of the twenty rare bosses spawning in 10-minute intervals.
Best of all, the Keepsake isn’t bind-on-pickup like so many of the drops are. This makes it so that players can trade it to each other if one decides they don’t want it – or sell it for quite a hefty profit, given the low drop chance.
If your plan is to try to grab a bit of profit, hold onto your Keepsake for a while. Once the event ends, they’ll be unobtainable, so keeping it until the event ends will let you sell it for a good deal more. You may want to wait a good while; the longer the wait, the fewer people will be selling them.
Other than that, the catch-up gear being offered won’t be obtainable (or needed) after the launch of the expansion. Make sure you’re getting any alts ready for the expansion that you’ll want to tackle the new content with, otherwise you might have a bit of difficulty getting started.
If you’re trying to grab the Proto-Drake mount from Skadi the Ruthless, he’ll likely still be farmable once the event ends, but he’ll be a bit harder to get to. Definitely give it the last few tries as the event comes to a close before you have to hope for Skadi to appear in his dungeon.
