Taiwanese graphics card manufacturer, TUL, has just unveiled a new addition to their already growing number of enhanced PowerColor brand. The water-cooled Liquid Devil is part of the line of custom-designed Radeon 5700s which includes the Red Dragon and the Red Devil.
TUL Corporation was founded 22 years ago, increasing its market presence with high-end GPU customizations. The “Liquid Devil” is not just one of the best looking graphics card, but is also packed with better cooling efficiency.
Twitter tech channel JayzTwoCents posted the teaser on their social media account saying that the PowerColor brand is tapping into gaming enthusiasts with this “HELL of a card,” and that the new Liquid Devil will, “open the Flood Gates!”.

What makes this new graphics card stand out is its superb looking chassis. It has a darkened panels with the “EK logo” at the card’s bottom right corner. This is a clear indication that the customization used EK Water Blocks, which is a premium brand for liquid-cooling custom-built kits.
This, however, deviates from what others initially believe. Because the teaser did not openly discuss its internal components, much first thought it uses the closed-loop AIO (all-in-one) liquid cooling design. Closer inspections though revealed the signature logo and the new Liquid Devil Radeon RX 5700 XT has an EK-made cooler.
The specifications of the graphics card have not yet been revealed, but by the looks of the unit, it might have some punch to it as well. There are still wild guesses regarding the overclocking done on the Liquid Devil variant. However, what’s been clear is that the Liquid Devil Radeon RX 5700 XT will have a base clock of 1.610MHz and boost clock of 1.750MHz.
The GPU can up its performance from a respective 1,465MHz to 1,725MHz. Theoretically speaking, liquid-cooled graphics cards will have a better overclocking speed compared to the conventional air-cooled systems. This is because water can transfer heat better than air. However, there are also many considerations when determining the overall efficiency of the whole system.
There is still no news when the Liquid Devil RX 5700 XT will be released and how much it will cost. What we can expect though is that this new gaming rig will be around the same price as the Red Devil 5700 XT which has a retail price of $440. We can expect this model to be a little pricier, though.
