Players of Overwatch 2 have requested that Blizzard implement an option within the game’s Auto Queue that would allow users to pause their matchmaking search after a session. Overwatch 2 provides players with the same team-based first-person shooter action as the original game. Since its release, Overwatch 2’s server population has exploded, thanks to the game’s popularity and Blizzard’s decision to make it free-to-play.

While many players have been engaging in Overwatch 2’s casual and competitive modes, others have pointed out the game’s many flaws. First, many Overwatch 2 players needed help getting into the game at launch due to the number of individuals trying to sign up. Blizzard has been hard fixing several other bugs since then, including one that prevented players from gaining access to the heroes they had won in Overwatch 2 via the battle pass.

Players request Blizzard modify Overwatch 2 with the Auto Queue feature in mind. Reddit user MyGoodFriendJon suggested adding a toggle to turn off Auto Queue matchmaking when a game ends. Presently, gamers have to pause their search after it has already started; there is no cancel button to use. While this isn’t a massive issue in Overwatch 2, many players feel it would be a welcome inclusion as it would stop them from being forced to look for a new match if they don’t want to.

The new user interface has been criticized for its “rushed” vibe, adding to the list of complaints over Blizzard’s latest game. Since Overwatch 2’s PvP mode was delayed for quite some time, it was released a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, despite Blizzard’s extra time to polish the game, some players still need help finding flaws. So, for the time being, Blizzard is focusing on other concerns, such as the one that led to the removal of Bastion and Torbjorn from competitive play in Overwatch 2.
