The days left for the Xbox Games Showcase are mere days apart now, and gamers are going nuts trying to guess what Bethesda will unveil. The event starts at 1 PM ET on Sunday, 8 June, and judging from the replies on the official tweet, expectations seem to be sky-high and downright chaotic.
The first and biggest: The Elder Scrolls 6. Players have been waiting for any sort of information since that infamous teaser back in 2018, and the hype has never died down. One reply outrightly stated, “There better be TES VI info or riot,” which… actually, it does make sense. Another one reckoned that “watching this showcase somehow shaves 36 seconds off the release date,” hilarious but painfully true.
And then there’s Starfield. All people want aside from the tease of DLC are mechs, aggressive world bosses, and vehicle crafting. A player even asked if Starfield could hit the PS5 (lol, good luck with that). But finger-crossed, after this bumpy launch, Bethesda must really nail it.
All these Indiana Jones kinds have flooded hopes for DLC of “The Order of the Giants.” And for Wolfenstein III folks, they’re waiting for signs of life for the series. Meanwhile, someone in the crowd dropped, “Nobody likes Outer Worlds,” which… ouch? Obsidian might wanna sit this one out.
Another game getting attention is Oblivion Remastered. Folks have been begging for the physical edition to be released or at least some performance fixes. One reply even requested a Switch 2 release for it, which is… a hopeful request.
But here is the thing: Who the hell’s gonna host this thing now that Pete is gone? The very skeptical side wondered if Aaron Greenberg was going to curtail some of his energy, and you just know the answer.
Bottom line? This showcase HAS to live up to that. Whether it’s crumbs for Elder Scrolls 6, expansions for Starfield, and maybe some surprise remasters, Bethesda has a busy schedule and an even more impatient fanbase. Just watch on Sunday to see if they make or break it… and start the riot.
And if nothing else, we have 36 seconds less going toward something’s release. Maybe.
