XSEED Games and Marvelous have announced additional details for the physical release of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town in March. The Premium physical edition will also come with a brand new tiny plushie, which follows the preorder bonus theme for farm animals of the previous Story of Seasons launches. The standard edition is only the game in a case. Previously XSEED games have included a preorder bonus of a farm animal plush with any Story of Seasons game, but players are still awaiting more information. North America and Europe will receive slightly different Premium Editions. Both will come with Buffy the Buffalo, a tiny plush bonus. In Europe, recipients will receive the physical game, a cloth A sized poster, ten trading cards, and a 140 page A5 notebook featuring the protagonists and romance candidates. All of the items are packaged inside a special box. The North American version includes the physical game, a cloth poster, and Buffy the Buffalo in a special box. It will not come with the trading cards or notebook. XSEED has not mentioned why the North American version will include fewer items compared to the European release. The game follows the adventures of the protagonist, who was inspired by their grandfather's tales of living off the land. Along the way, players will get to know the residents of Olive Town. Within the town are romance candidates, who the player can choose to marry and begin a family. Players can expect plenty of gameplay that the series is known for, including farming and cultivating crops, raising animals and tending to their needs, and helping others around Olive Town.
