A title that is too perfect to be untrue soon could come to be because the new ASUS-indeed, the most metal PC hardware kit bundle…This is history-making for DOOM fans-there was no deafening scream anywhere, for it was an Imp screaming in pain possessed by demiurgic wrath. Most probably, R2G Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition Bundle is the most fabled treatment ever offered-a one-way ticket on the road of ultra-violent, high-FPS glory. Thus, in playing DOOM: The Dark Ages, you might want some blood-red GPU forged in Hell’s flames.

With such a cool name, ROG Astral just sends shivers down my spine…well, at least my demon spine-chilling-just talking about it might get some poor bastard’s guts ripped out. Reference to DOOM: The Dark Ages? Yeah, this isn’t just a video card; this is a statement. The statement reads: “Fast frames, crispy visuals, and deep RGB-red that could be mistaken for a big puddle of lava.”

This bundle? Still a bit murky-varsities ASUS has not spilled all the details yet-but you all know that it houses an RTX 5080-and absolutely faster than that Baron of Hell under turbo charge. This GPU had better be all armored up; the medieval aesthetic for DOOM: The Dark Ages just gives us some options for chainsaw heatsinks.

But why would you care? Because you are going to be killing demons in 4K at 144Hz in what is arguably one of the most visually bonkers games these days, and you better be having hardware that won’t even flinch doing those things. The word is that the RTX 5080 shall fast be NVIDIA’s big jump with lots and lots of ray-tracing and DLSS magic to make every gib and explosion look disgustingly good.

What’s the deal-MAN, ASUS knows how to make a themed GPU. Their previous ones were just absolute visual feasts, so expect this one to ooze DOOM’s signature gothic-meets-tech-devilry. Perhaps pentagram lighting? Perhaps even blood splatter effects? Okay, probably not the latter one, but a Slayer can dream.

So yeah, just how much will this set you back? Presumably not anywhere close to being cheap, especially compared to historical ROG Strix editions. Yet it could be worth selling a kidney or something to that effect for the more zealous of doomies…or at least some old Steam games.

At the same time, it hasn’t been made official, but seeing that DOOM: The Dark Ages will see the light of day next year, it is right to assume that this GPU will come around the same time. Therefore, better start saving up because Hell waits for no man, and neither does frame rate.

Meanwhile, check out that teaser link ASUS dropped. Not much yet, but it should be enough to rev the hype train into the very depths of Hell. And who knows-the RGB hellfire might be lucky on your side.

So, yeah, looks like if you’re planning to upgrade your rig at any time soon, you’re gonna wanna put the brakes on. Because nothing screams, “I am ready for the apocalypse,” more than a DOOM-branded RTX 5080. Rip and Tear, baby. Rip and Tear.
