Resident Evil Village has been leaked with insider details bringing in a slew of more information and new rumors, many of which are yet to be confirmed true.

The team at Biohazard Declassified, with help from a game enthusiast, Dusk Golem, uncovered an expose on Resident Evil Village with details on the description of the game’s preface and some foes to face.

A majority of the information came from Resident Evil Village demo, which some insiders played earlier this year. To be clear, they are possible SPOILERS ahead, so you are advised to check another article if you want to play Resident Evil Village completely fresh.

Pro Gameplay
Apparently, Resident Evil Village is the direct sequel to Resident Evil 7, and Ethan Winters acts as the protagonist. And from Resident Evil Village trailer, we see how Chris Redfield shows up to endanger Mia.

According to Biohazard Declassified, Resident Evil Village is set to open a prologue that shows Mia reading a fairy tale to Rose. While this happens, Ethan explores the house to find some notes that indicate his family is free of the mold from Resident Evil 7 and Ethan’s training with Chris since the events of the game.

In the game, you will have to take Rose from Mia, put her to bed, and then return to Mia as she prepares supper. In the background, you hear faint sirens inside and outside.

As Ethan tries to communicate the events with Mia, Chris Redfield, and two other ‘masked henchmen’ break into the Winters house and make a dispatch of Mia. While Ethan and Rose are bound in a vehicle, it crashes in the middle of the driveway, which leads to the moment where Ethan must pay the price to survive in a snowy wooded area.

To summarize, Ethan ends up in a cabin where his cellmate is an older man—who eventually meets his sudden demise. Ethan then ends up having to defend the cabin from numerous foes in the typical Resident Evil fashion.

Enemies and Characters
According to the trailer, Resident, Evil Village will feature werewolf-like ‘Beastmen,’ and based on the latest leaks, they’re AI-engineered, and they’ll be an obstacle you’d have to deal with.

Also, there are other enemies described, like the ‘Gorilla Man,’ who wields a large ax and seems to dominate the Beastmen.

For characters, apart from the older man in the cabin, the older woman seen in the trailer is purposed to be a new upgrade to the merchant from Resident Evil 4.

She’s there to sell you items, upgrade weapons, and share rumors on the happenings in town. By the way, Resident Evil Village will have a weapon upgrade treemap, which will allow you to unlock various parts. So you would have to work your way to get your desired weapon.

While Dusk Golem and Biohazard Declassified have delivered on the promise in the past, you should still take all the information released with a grain of salt. To get the full info, check Biohazard in-depth information on Resident Evil Village.

Other than that, you’d have to wait till Sony confirms it to be true!

Resident Evil Village will be out on Xbox Series X, PS5, and PCs in 2021.
