Well, the big announcement here is that Omen is back. You should at least have heard something about this! This dark and teleporting nightmare of a character has finally returned, and it seems like the rest of the community is losing their minds. A whole ton of chaos erupted less than two minutes ago when the VALORANT Leaks account went ahead and tweeted the bombshell announcement: “Omen is back!”
Reactions are really the first thing to mention. Some are excited: @Thor_Thordi straight-up called Omen their “beloved” with a really warm welcome back gif. Others…well, let’s just say not everyone is thrilled. User @TmoDDD went ahead and dunked on VALORANT, saying it is a “mid free to play fps.” Good choice there, buddy. Then @riahc3 came back with clapping, “I mean we would be in a better world if you stopped breathing, but can’t have everything we want.” That was a tournament-worthy slap. Honestly, replies alone are a war zone.
Here comes the bugs talk. @Tohikomb popped in to ask if they were the only one experiencing a weird glitch with an attached screenshot that looked like something straight out of the horror films. Classic VALORANT, bugs and all. Of course, the mobile players are loving this too, with another person, @Chintan_149, starting the everlasting question: “When will VALORANT mobile come?” Dude, seriously, we have been asking for years.
International buzz does have to be considered for sure. @riaaval screamed, “omg omg omg heute läuft dann” (something close to, oh my god, oh my god, today; will run). The excitement truly is worldwide. Even the Portuguese-speaking crowd got involved, joking about missing out on bug exploits, with @laurenmidelirio and @syckolz: “KKKKKKKKKKKKKK eu tbm, queria pelo menos testar” (laughing emoji overload followed by “me too, I at least wanted to test”).
For those who don’t know, the return of Omen isn’t just some random update. Omen: a guy who has been a classic favorite since day one with his spooky aesthetic and mind-bending teleportation skills. His removal got people thinking-was he going to be reworked? Nerfed? Removed entirely? Apparently, he’s just back and (hopefully) better than ever.
But the leaks and rumors continue. Some gamers are already poking around in the files asking if this is just a placeholder or if Riot might be cooking up something bigger. @riahc3 had some insight: “Old as time itself: This is a Raze beta placeholder. When an agent is removed, this appears.” So, is Omen really back, or is this just a glitch in the Matrix? Only time will tell.
What is certain is that VALORANT players are never short of opinions. They love, hate, or get confused; any way you put it, the community has been loud. And with Omen coming back, the big rumble has just started. If you love that edgelord shadow-walking agent, now is the time to jump in again and see what’s changed. Or maybe, you might rather not, just like @TmoDDD. At any rate, free drama, and meme money.
And at the end of the day, seems like a bug can stir up drama or hype can be saturating the buzz or some war may break out in Twitter, but this is what keeps VALORANT players engaged. Omen’s comeback feels like a new chapter of the never-ending saga about “what does Riot want next?” And honestly? We are so here for that, so fire up que, and find out if Omen can still do it-or just a shadow of the one he used to be.! (Did you see what I did there?)
