NVIDIA has given an exclusive preview of NTE, an upcoming supernatural urban open-world RPG that is flexing some serious tech with DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation. The new #RTXOn trailer is teasing gamers with a glimpse—that’s a little too wild. But as far as visuals go, some are awe-struck, but there are varying opinions.

Let us start with the game: NTE promises a sprawling open world where the players will be crafting their own stories, sprinkling on some supernatural elements, with that urban vibe. The trailer also highlights next-generation lighting, reflections, and particle effects, with DLSS 4 turned up to eleven. Ladies and gentlemen: if you have ever wanted to have a game that really diamonds in the spotlight with RTX features, here is your answer.

Now things get interesting. The comments section of NVIDIA’s tweet? Transparent chaos. Some of those gamers are hyped, with @csar_wade throwing some fire emoji to express, “Genial.” Then, there were the negative comments by @lunas_ra accusing them of outright “scammers,” saying Nvidia is selling “fake frames,” not raw performance. That must hurt!

Then, it just evolves into a hardware strife. Poor little 3070 has begun “shitting” as it were, according to @cvrsify, while @KurozzzSama is cautiously hoping that their 1060 3GB manages to run this beast. Spoiler: not without serious compromises. Then there’s the ponderings about RTX 5060: some thinking about upgrading, with @Hero_Joe418 asking if it would be enough. Answers: Get more VRAM or suffer.

While at it, anyone remember those random GTA fans that somehow got slipped into the conversation courtesy of @Deepakusa93? Classic Twitter act.

The real kicker: @needlessrelic16 loses it over an idle animation stopping rain effects from the environment. And that was a full-on caps-lock meltdown. The obsessed-with-details craziness is what gives gaming Twitter its charm.

Have I kept you long enough? Verdict: NTE does indeed look gorgeous, but being a PC game at heart, it is also starting with the usual drama: performance concerns, GPU discussions, and some bewilderment. The closed beta is coming up, so if you want it (or just want to try if your rig can handle it), make sure to sign up on the link from Nvidia’s tweet.

Just proceed with caution: the loudest in the crowd sure isn’t going to give this some praise. Gamers never are. And this creates the thrill!
