Nintendo has released two new Japanese commercials for the upcoming game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The title is the first to be released on the Nintendo Switch console, but the mobile version, Pocket Camp, has continued to have new events and even a monthly subscription service.

The two new commercials show different perspectives from two different players.

The first commercial showcases more of the shopping and decorating aspects of the game. A pink-haired player visits the Abel Sisters’ clothing shop, where the UI is displayed. On the menu are various tops, bottoms, one-piece outfits, and hats. In the next scene, the player is decorating their home, ending with a perfect space for bok lovers. Other rooms include an underwater scene, a traditional Japanese home, and a DIY hobbyist’s house.

The second commercial shows more of outdoor recreational activities. The player emerges from a tent, where they plant new flowers along a fence, sleep in a hammock on a sunny day, and visits various villagers on the island.

“Show off your island utopia to family and friends—or pack your bags and visit theirs. Whether playing online or with others beside you, island living is even better when you can share it. Even without hopping on a flight, you’ll meet a cast of charming animal residents bursting with personality. Friendly faces like Tom Nook and Isabelle will lend their services and happily help you grow your budding community. Escape to your island getaway—however, whenever, and wherever you want.” state the official summary from the Nintendo store page.

The commercials show only a small snippet of what will be included in the final release of the game. Although there’s plenty for solo players to enjoy, there is online play, plus various updates with special events that will take place over the years.

The new commercials come before the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game is weeks before launch, but players still have time to preorder the game or purchase the limited edition AC: NH themed Nintendo Switch console. Preorder bonuses across retailers include a tote bag and free digital wallpapers from Walmart, journal and calendar from Target, plus a reuseable sticker from Best Buy.
